WHERE TO REGISTER BIRTH CERTIFICATE IN DUBAI
If you are registering your baby’s birth in Dubai, you can use any of the following channels to apply for a birth certificate. 

  • Service 1 Center in Emirates Towers
  • Public hospitals in Dubai including Dubai Hospital, Rashid Hospital and Latifa Hospital 
  • The preventive medicine centre in Al Baraha (Kuwaiti Hospital)
  • The MOHAP website

WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTERING A BABYS BIRTH IN DUBAI?

The general list of documents required to apply for a birth certificate in Dubai are:

  • Copy and original of the parents’ marriage certificate. If you an expat, the marriage certificate will need to be attested and translated in Arabic.
  • A birth notification and discharge summary from the hospital where the delivery took place
  • Copies and originals of father’s and mother’s passports or original Emirates IDs
  • Additional documents may be required if the child was born outside the UAE.
